Who Is Kirsten?

Kirsten Schuder’s favorite writing projects make a positive impact upon social issues. Kirsten has written hundreds of parenting and mental health articles and has edited thousands as an expert mental health professional. She fetched an international award with her first co-authored book, Farming Industrial Hemp: Not Your Daddy’s Tobacco where their book was instrumental in raising awareness of the dangers of growing industrial hemp in unsafe conditions and influencing Congress in growing guidelines for the budding industry. Her second book, Schooling Your Kids Through a Pandemic: Your Step-by-step, Guilt-free Guide to Remote Learning, Homeschooling, or Somewhere in Between, helps parents navigate the difficulties of remote learning. She also authored a fiction series, Inside Dweller, published by Black Rose Writing September 14, 2023. She serves as the Vice President of Apex Literary Management, a growing boutique literary agency, and loves long subtitles. Finally, she writes whatever the heck she wants in Kirsten’s Short Attention Span on Medium.

Personal Life

Kirsten has been writing most of her life. She began with a picture book with flowers, houses, and rainbows when she was in preschool and asked her mother to publish it. (She did not.) She worked her way up to writing poetry in the middle of the night and waking her parents up to share it. (She was a joy as a child.) She moved onto articles published in print magazines in her twenties and has been published in every decade she has been an adult.

A recent widow, Kirsten resides in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia with her kids and a myriad of pets. She has been telecommuting for almost a decade and homeschooling her kids for over a decade. Presently, she works with various online platforms, writes her own books, and runs Apex Literary Management, a growing boutique literary agency.

Academic cheating is already putting your school’s reputation into jeopardy.

Kirsten’s years-long research project informed her book, How College Students Are Cheating and Why Everyone Should Care about academic cheating in the digital age.

What she learned is both enlightening and terrifying.

The amount of plagiarism has tripled. In addition, a majority of plagiarized papers remain undetected. Many students are using AI for all their classes, turning all universities into college degree mills!

Through her work as a dissertation-level college tutor, she can attest that college professors are not catching a majority of the papers written with AI.

Kirsten is the only academic integrity consultant who is capable of offering a college-wide system to effectively combat academic dishonesty.

Kirsten can teach all the professors at your university how to:

  • DetectAI-written, plagiarized papers with confidence
  • Confront students they suspect of plagiarism
  • Establish university-wide policies that will confront the problem of plagiarism with kindness and understanding, balanced with a firm approach that will discourage academic cheating
